Topic - Improving Adherence Via Interactive Messaging​

The barriers to successful therapy adherence are numerous, including treatment affordability, confusing therapy regimens, unexpected side effects, and more.

The key to helping patients stay compliant with their therapy is patient support programs (PSP) that are designed around a well understood patient journey. There are a few major challenges in that process:

A) enrolling / onboarding patients at scale
B) providing a timely and contextually relevant patient experience
C) doing it all in a compliant manner

Success means engaging with people on their own terms, in the ways that are most convenient for them. This requires a deep understanding of the patient’s disease journey, solid planning around the journey, and technology-enabled implementations that support tailored interactions.
