PROXIMITY™ | TRIGGER-BASED EHR MESSAGING
Deliver information HCPs can use, when clinical context calls for it.
PROXIMITY™ uses the clinical criteria you define to trigger relevant brand messaging during qualifying EHR encounters, giving marketers greater control over when their impressions are delivered.
WHAT IT IS
You define what makes an impression relevant.
Clinical context drives the activation.
Trigger-based ehr messaging checks the patient chart for the clinical criteria you define, such as diagnoses, medications and demographics. When an HCP reviews a chart that matches, relevant brand information is delivered directly in the EHR.
The most common triggers are ICD-10 and NDC codes, used alone or in combination, sometimes paired with a defined list of prescribers. If the chart doesn’t meet the criteria, no message appears.

See the possibilities for your brand.
Share the criteria that define your brand’s audience. We’ll walk through which ones can trigger in the EHR, how claims history extends your reach, and where trigger-based messaging fits in your HCP plan.
WHY IT WORKS
Every impression shows up in the EHR with a job to do
Clinically relevant.
Give HCPs a reason to value your message by linking delivery to patient context.
Inside the workflow.
Content appears in the EHR workflow, where formulary, access and affordability details are needed.
You stay in control.
Messages deploy only when every criterion is fulfilled.
HOW OPTIMIZERX DOES IT
Clinical-criteria triggers, with reach built in.
You define your patient once. Where the EHR supports it, the message triggers in the visit. Using the same criteria, we also reach the HCPs whose claims history shows they treat your patient, across the broader OptimizeRx network.
Your clinical criteria
Diagnosis · Drug · Demographic
Both run together. You set the split.
Triggered by a chart match
Where the EHR supports it, the message serves when your criteria are in the patient chart.
Extended through claims history
HCPs whose claims history matches the same criteria, across the broader OptimizeRx network.
Weekly HCP-level reporting
HOW OPTIMIZERX DOES IT
One Patient Definition, Two Trigger Mechanisms.
Keep every criterion
No trimming your patient definition to make a plan deliver.
Layered, not split
One definition drives the trigger and the reach.
See who you reached
Weekly reporting shows which HCPs saw your message.
Activate in the clinical workflow, on the leading point of care network.
WHEN IT FITS
Trigger-based messaging works best for brands that…
Define their patient with more than one criterion (e.g., diagnosis plus a current therapy, demographic, etc.)
Need to raise HCP awareness of a new line of therapy or indication
Want HCPs to consider their brand when a patient's current therapy isn’t working
Want to reach HCPs treating patients on a competitive product
Are struggling with limited impression volume and/or HCP reach due to a narrow patient definition

Share the criteria that define your brand’s audience. We’ll walk through which ones can trigger in the EHR, how claims history extends your reach, and where trigger-based messaging fits in your HCP plan.
