The Nemours Foundation offers this list of common reasons for headaches in children:
- Not getting enough sleep, or a change in sleep habits.
- Not eating frequently enough.
- Dehydration.
- Too much TV or computer time.
- Long car or bus trips.
- Consuming too much caffeine.
- Eating too many sugary or fried foods.
- Stress.
- Listening to music that's too loud.
- Smoking.
